A couple days ago, I hang out with William Appleton.
William is one of the composers who played his original piece in last MAPS show.
His piece "Dogma" was absolutely excellent!
He also demonstrated freaking awesome piano performance!
This was the first time we did something together...
I'm very happy to know him because he's such an excellent musician and also an unique person!
Unfortunately, he made up his mind to move back to NH.
NH is not that far, so we promised when MAPS organize next show,
he will be in again.
Yeah, so this is moving time for a lot of people.
Many people who I know are leaving.
But at the same time, I see a lot of new people are coming in!
Changes are happening!
I guess it's good thing I should be excited about that!
... my life?
.................Stay the same.
This is another side of truth.
While something, a lot of things are changing,
nothing happens to a certain thing/person.
At least it's not bad thing, I guess.
I have a lot to say...
I recorded all music for "Mt. Oe" project.
It was super fun to work with many many talented musicians!!
I was bit nervous about my conducting, it went very well!!
We were missing Bassoon and Shamisen, the Japanese traditional
instrument at the recording.
But we already recorded those two insts, a week after that.
I also work on MIDI files with a composer
it went very well, too.
we basically recorded all Audio part for the project!!
Now it's time to work on...
Things are getting there!!!
And this Tuesday,
I and my friend Dylan finally hosted "MAPS" piano concert.
7 talented composers and 2 amazing performers!!
The venue was packed!!!!
Man, it was so successful.
I'm having exciting Summer!!
And life goes on!!
Just saying random things...
